Chair: Sophia Bardakjian
Senior – Class of 2026
Dias: Olivia Darakjian & Nairi Hartoonian
My name is Sophia Bardakjian, and I am so honored to be able to have the opportunity to serve as your chair for PilibosMUN 2026. I am currently a senior at Pilibos, and in the near future I aspire to major in fields such as global studies, sociology, and cultural anthropology before heading on the track for pre-law. Aside from academics, I love traveling around all of LA trying new foods, experiencing new cultures, and sharing laughs with my friends whom I love so dearly. My senior year of high school has been the only year I have participated in MUN, as I recently figured out that the experience someone can gain from these conferences is truly irreplaceable. By attending BruinMUN last year, my eyes were opened to the world of what it meant to be a delegate, and the first hand experience of debating. MUN has become a space where I no longer feel hesitant to speak, but empowered to think boldly, question deeply, and engage with others who are just as passionate. I cannot wait to bring that same energy into this committee and create an environment where every delegate feels confident, challenged, and excited to participate. PilibosMUN 2026 means so much to me, and I am beyond excited to learn, lead, and grow alongside all of you.

Chair: Vanna Davtyan
Junior – Class of 2027
Dias: Aleek Babahekian,
Areni Baboomi, &
Chloe Tashjian
My name is Vanna Davtyan, and I am extremely excited to be your chair for the NATO Crisis Committee at the 2026 Pilibos MUN. I am a junior with hopes of attending UC Berkeley and studying Political Science, which will hopefully set me on the pre-law path. After law school, I aspire to become a social justice and human rights attorney. Apart from academics, I love to spend time with friends and family, try new restaurants in LA, and play tennis.
This is my first year on the MUN journey, but definitely not the last! I joined this year because of my love for politics, and I quickly fell even more in love with it. This is because it is challenging and forces you to think outside the box in order to reach an agreement. Bruin MUN was the first conference I attended and I learned so much from the chair. I hope to share these experiences and lessons with everyone attending by challenging everyone to think more critically. I am so excited to see you all and see what you bring to this conference!
