My name is Knarik Ktrdzhyan, and I am looking forward to serving as your UNHRC chair at PilibosMUN! I am a senior at Pilibos and will be majoring in neuroscience at Duke University on the pre-med track. I hope to attend medical school to become a physician in the future. Outside of academics, I love to play tennis and hang out with friends.
I began attending Model UN conferences in my junior year of high school with an emerging interest in diplomacy despite being unfamiliar with the formalities of conferences. My first conference was a complete learning experience, as I was relatively underprepared compared to my experienced peers, but I fell in love with MUN and attended UCLA’s BruinMUN 33 as a head delegate. MUN has improved my public speaking and critical thinking skills and helped me develop a broader global mindset by putting myself in the shoes of political leaders.
