F.A.Q.

Where can I find my school’s delegation roster? All schools should have already received their rosters, directly assigned to respective advisors, with assigned delegations. If you need any adjustments or edits, please reach out and we’ll work with our MUN leadership team to accommodate your request.

Where can I find the committee background guides? All background guides are available on our website at (www.pilibosmun.org). If you have committee-specific questions, you’re welcome to email your chair directly, their contact information is included within each guide.

What time should delegates arrive, and when does the conference begin? We encourage all delegates to arrive between 8:00–8:30 AM. This allows time for a smooth drop-off, efficient check-in at your school’s designated table (Pilibos students will be on hand to assist), and morning refreshments before the day begins. The conference will begin promptly at 9:05 AM.

Who is the keynote speaker? We are honored to welcome Dr. Jason Warner as our keynote speaker. Dr. Warner is a distinguished scholar and the Research Director and Senior Africa and Terrorism/Transnational Crime Analyst at the U.S. Army’s Foreign Military Studies Office. His career has been dedicated to studying the forces that destabilize our world — and the strategies that push back against them. For delegates about to spend a day debating these very issues in committee, his address promises to be both inspiring and clarifying.

What is the dress code? Delegates are expected to wear business attire for the duration of the conference.

Will food be provided? Yes — snacks, refreshments, and lunch will be provided for all students and advisors. Drinks and snacks will be available throughout the day on floors 2, 3, and 4 of the Apcarian Building. If a delegate requires elevator access due to a medical need, please reach out privately in advance so we can ensure seamless accommodations.

Will there be photos or videos taken at the conference? Yes. Photos and videos will be taken throughout the day and may be published on school websites and social media. Please note that prior to committee breakout sessions, there will be a large group photo in the Gym to commemorate the 2026 conference.

Will there be WiFi available? Yes, WiFi will be accessible to all attendees. We encourage the responsible, scholarly use of technology. Please be aware that the school’s firewall and digital use policies will remain active throughout the conference.
